This April 21^st, 2021, held the online training “Physical therapy for geriatrics and non-communicable diseases.” This event took place for Ukrainian partners under the project “Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of New Master’s Degree Programs in Ukraine” within the EU Erasmus + program. The following reports were presented to the participants:

Aija Klavina (Latvian Academy of Sports Education), on the topic: “Physical therapy of persons of gerontological age with type 2 diabetes”.
Kwok Ng (EUFAPA), on the topic: “Functional self-assessments and monitoring among older populations.”
Elaine Toomey (EUFAPA), on the topic: “Physical activity programs for older people with non-communicable disease: group and community-based approaches.”

From the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Department, NUUPES participated in this event assoc. Prof. S.V. Havreliuk presented a report on the topic: “Geriatric syndromes. Malnutrition syndrome”.

Total, about 100 participants from higher education institutions-partners of the project took part in the event.

This April 5^th – the Testing Board conducted 7th, 2021, online training for the authors of the test facilities for the KROK2 at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The training was carried out with the knowledge of the development of the main categories and the testimonials of the tests, the rules for establishing the tests, and the peculiarities of their writing. Representatives of the department of physical therapy and occupational therapy of NUUPES took part in this training.

For an hour the training will be discussed next:

1.Features of carrying out the test as the form of the control of knowledge.

2.Technology of the establishment/design of test facilities.

3. Discussion and examples of the defects in the tests of their plants.

During May 20 - 25, 2021, graduates students of the master's degree program of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Department of NUUPES passed the pre-pilot version of the practical exam OSCE. This exam was developed within the project "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of New Master's Degree Programs in Ukraine" (REHAB) No. 598938-EPP-1-2018-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP of the Erasmus + program, funded by the European Union.

The OSCE exam aimed to test the quality of practical skills acquired during the master's degree program over two years. As a result, all graduate students of the master's program successfully coped with the practical tasks that awaited them at the thematic stations.
