Participation in the WHO meeting, June, 7-8 in Copenhagen
June 7-8, 2022, a meeting on the development of rehabilitation education in the subregions of Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Eastern Europe was held in Copenhagen by the World Health Organization, the European Regional Office, together with the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthopedics ( ISPO), the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) and the World Physiotherapy. It was attended by the national coordinator of the "REHAB" project, M.R. Mrouga, and the head of the department of physical and occupational therapy of NUUPES, prof. O.B. Lazareva. The meeting discussed building strong leadership and political support for rehabilitation at the subnational, national, and global levels, building research capacity and expanding the availability of reliable evidence for rehabilitation, and building and strengthening networks and partnerships in rehabilitation, including among participating countries.
