Online-Seminar "Assistive aids in rehabilitation: Finnish perspective" November, 10, 2021

On November 10, 2021, an online seminar on the topic «Assistive aids in rehabilitation; Finnish perspective» was held within the framework of the EU Erasmus + project «Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Implementation of New Master's Programs in Ukraine (REHAB)».

The seminar was organized by Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

The keynote speaker was Mari Törne, Senior Lecturer, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences

Teachers and students of the National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sport took part in the seminar.

The following issues were discussed during the seminar:

  1. Assistive aid process; Finnish perspective.
  2. Assistive aids to support mobility.

 

 

 

Online-Seminar "Cardiac rehabilitation. Physiotherapy of persons with chronic heart failure", Ocober, 29, 2021

On October 29, 2021, an online seminar on the topic «Cardiac Rehabilitation. Physiotherapy in cardiac rehabilitation of persons with chronic heart failure» was held within the framework of the EU Erasmus + project «Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Implementation of New Master's Programs in Ukraine (REHAB)».

This event was co-organized by the Jozef Pilsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw.

Teachers and students of the National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sport took part in the seminar.

Topics covered:

  1. Cardiac rehabilitation in patients after myocardial infarction, MscPT Kamil Szcześniak, Institute of Cardiology.
  2. Cardiac rehabilitation in patients after cardiac surgery, MscPT Kamil Szcześniak, Institute of Cardiology.
  3. Cardiac rehabilitation - types of training and rehabilitation models, dr hab. prof. AWF Edyta Smolis-Bąk, Faculty of Rehabilitation, AWF Warsaw, Institute of Cardiology.

 

 

 

Online-Seminar "Clinical rehabilitation management in autism spectre disorders in children. Physical exercises program for children with ASD", September 30, 2021

 

On September 30, 2021, an online seminar on "Clinical Rehabilitation Management in Autistic Spectrum Disorders in Children" was held within the framework of the EU Erasmus + project "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Implementation of New Master's Programs in Ukraine (REHAB)". The seminar was organized by the Latvian Academy of Sports Pedagogy (Latvia).

Teachers and students of the National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sport took part in the seminar.

Online-Seminar "Rehabilitation of cardiac patients: myocardiac infarction", October, 13, 2021

On October 13, 2021, an online seminar on the topic « REHABILITATION OF A CARDIAC PATIENT: Myocardiac infarction» was held within the framework of the EU Erasmus + project «Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Implementation of New Master's Programs in Ukraine (REHAB)».

The seminar was organized by Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

The keynote speaker was Mari Törne, Senior Lecturer, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences

Teachers and students of the National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sport took part in the seminar.

The following issues were discussed during the seminar:

  1. Orientation to Coronary artery disease and myocardiac infarction
  2. Primary and secondary prevention
  3. Angioplasty and Coronary artery by-pass graft
  4. Physiotherapy after Angioplasty and Coronary artery by-pass graft

 

 

 

Online training "Breast cancer rehabilitation", May 26th, 2021.

On May 26, as part of the Erasmus + project "Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of New Master's Degree Programs in Ukraine" (REHAB) № 598938-EPP-1-2018-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JPREHAB, online training on the topic " Breast cancer rehabilitation." The training was organized by Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland). The keynote speaker was Anne Kärki, Ph.D., principal lecturer in physiotherapy, researcher. The following issues were discussed during the training:

  • Orientation into the treatment of breast cancer - what should physiotherapist know and why?
  • Physiotherapy after breast cancer operation and during chemotherapy & radiation therapy
  • Exercise therapy and other treatment modalities. Typical impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions among breast cancer rehabilitees.
  • Lymphedema prevention and treatment guidelines.

Also, during the training were considered the guidance of breast cancer rehabilitees - what do we know about avoidance of hot bath, sauna, injection/blood test, flight, loading of the operated arm.

In total, about 60 participants from the partner institutions of the project took part in the training.
