Olympic lesson
On September 7, the traditional Olympic lesson began in Kyiv. This year he was dedicated to Olympic values - friendship, respect and excellence.
The participants of the bright sports event were greeted by the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Youth and Sports Andriy Kozhemyakin, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Oleksandr Yarema, Director of the Department of Youth and Sports of Kyiv state administration Vadym Gutzait.
For the guests and participants of the action, the Olympic Academy of Ukraine has prepared Olympic creative competitions.
Everybody had a great opportunity to express their written wishes to the participants of the 3rd Winter Youth Olympic Games to be held in Lausanne (Switzerland), to convey to them the kind words on the wings of the pigeons of peace made by their own hands. Great interest in adults and children aroused the blitz-quiz "Olympic Values in My Life", acquaintance with the mascots of the Olympic Games of different years through the cubes, the production of an Olympic torch.
